Ian Drummond

Ian is Executive Chairman and provides the strategic visions for Australian Property Projects. He has guided the fortunes of the company since its incorporation in 1984.

Ken Patterson

Ken Patterson is Director of Development for Australian Property Projects Pty Ltd and holds an equity partnership in the business.

Ken is a qualified town planner and has been involved in urban design, building and project management of property development for the past 30 years.

Ken is also a licensed builder and has for many years been directly involved in the design documentation and construction of a broad range of residential, medium level commercial and industrial projects.

Ken's strengths are in the areas of physical planning, design and project management activities associated with land development and building construction. In his role as Director of Development Ken is responsible for project initiation, feasibility assessment, financial and marketing analysis, projects approval, contract administration and financial control.

Michael Manning

Michael Manning managed his own successful Insurance Agency from age 21 for 25 years.

He became a member of the Australian Society of Accountants (now a CPA) and was a registered tax agent for a number of years. Michael completed 2 insurance diplomas in the 1960's.

In 1984 Michael and Ian Drummond started Australian Property Projects Pty Ltd (APP) which now employs about 200 people with an annual turnover in excess of $30 million.

Michael's expertise includes sourcing property projects throughout Australia and arranging the finance that best suits the project.

Projects that have been instigated by Michael Manning across a wide spectrum include renovating and building new residential units single and multistorey, an 18 hectare industrial subdivision, a proposed 12,000 acre rural subdivision and residential subdivisions.

APP has purchased projects in its own name but mostly Michael has put together numerous Unit Trusts and Joint Ventures with joint parties.

Tim Langmaid

Tim is General Manager for the Australian Property Projects Group and commenced with us early in 2007. He oversees group finance, legal affairs, special projects and the group’s Development and Tourism businesses. Tim has spent the previous 12 years working in the banking industry, most recently as Associate Director for Property & Construction Finance (SA&NT) at the ANZ. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law from The University of Adelaide.
